The cooperation between ARAKO spol. s r.o. (belongs to the engineering division of the corporation Rosatom - Atomenergomash) and Siemens AG, Germany, has reached another milestone: "In spring 2016, based on negotiations with representatives of Siemens AG in Mülheim, ARAKO acquired a very significant contract for deliveries of globe valves and blow-out devices for Egyptian projects Burullus, Beni Suef and New Capital Power Plants. Deliveries will take place at the end of October and their total value is about 570 thousand EUR" said the deputy commercial director of ARAKO Petr Hlaváč.

Representatives of the company ARAKO attended the Czech-French Business Forum, which was held in presentable premises of the French Embassy in the Buquoy Palace in Prague on Monday, September 19, 2016. The meeting consisted of two parts – a morning conference and B2B meetings with French participants in the afternoon. The main objective of the event was to deepen Czech-French relations in the field of nuclear energy as well as industry generally speaking.


ARAKO promotes mechanical engineering education in Opava region

The company ARAKO (belongs to the engineering division of the corporation Rosatom - Atomenergomash), a traditional manufacturer of industrial valves from Opava and major regional employer, encourages young mechanical engineers to study and above all to work in engineering. "We are continuing and intensifying our cooperation with technical schools, particularly with Secondary Technical School in Opava. We take on school-leavers, offer practical trainings in the manufacture, participate in campaigns to promote the interest in studies of engineering disciplines. That is how we try to prevent the lack of skilled manpower in the labor market," said Pavlina Koligová, Human Resources Director of ARAKO.
