Czech valves with the highest safety – deliveries for NPP Tianwan even in 2015

ARAKO spol. s r.o. is an important manufacturer of industrial valves with a long tradition. In the global considerable competition it holds very well, mainly thanks to the expertise of its employees and its own development department, which is able to take advantage of a gap in the market and offer a competitive product. We have already informed you about the current development task – the new gate valve A42 for use in nuclear power industry. To remind: internal tests of a prototype (diameter DN100, pressure PN160) and cycling the valve with an electric actuator ZPA Pečky in a number of 1000 cycles were completed successfully. External tests follow at authorized testing laboratories and the documentation for the subsequent transfer of the product into series production will be worked out after their successful completion. The second sample of diameter DN300 has been just manufactured.

A new, we dare to say mutually beneficial, cooperation with the German company KSB is connected with this development task. KSB will supply the ARAKO gate valves for the project Belarus NPP.

Recently, we have received an order from KSB to supply bellows sealed globe valves that will be delivered to the Tianwan NPP in China later in this year. The order includes altogether 32 pieces of bellows sealed globe valves, the deliveries are scheduled for the third quarter of 2015.
We are pleased that the Czech product is used in systems with requirements for maximum safety – in nuclear power plants all around the world.
