On March 28th, 2017, there was another meeting of representatives of engineering companies from the Opava region and students of SŠT (Technical Secondary School Opava) called Engineers to engineers held at the SŠT in Opava. The company ARAKO (belongs to the engineering division of the corporation Rosatom – Atomenergomash) could not miss.
The event was organized by the school itself. Representatives of major engineering companies from the Opava region were invited to introduce their opportunities for professional training in their production to the students of the 2nd and 3rd school classes or, as the case may be, to offer a job in their working premises to this year’s graduates.
“The cooperation is still underway between ARAKO and students of technical secondary vocational schools and universities – we cooperate primarily with the Secondary Technical School in Opava and the Technical University in Ostrava,” says Personal Director Mrs. Pavlína Koligová and adds: “Our employees are ready to hand down their expertise in industrial valves manufacturing to the students. We employ graduates but we also participate in a professional training of students – for example last year, we offered the professional experience in the production to 4 students of the SŠT Opava. Also this year we expect to comply with several employment applications of the graduates and in the autumn, we will provide other pupils with the practical training. “
