Belarusian nuclear power plant

At the beginning of November, the company ARAKO received an order for production of 350 pieces bellows sealed globe valves A10. The bellows sealed valves A10 will be used in the piping system of the nuclear power plant Belarus, Unit 1 and 2.

The globe valves A10 have been being produced in the company ARAKO for almost 30 years. They are distinguished by their durability and reliability, which is guaranteed by using the first-class materials and strict products´ inspection according to current European and Russian standards and regulations. This is the first part of a wide contract. The delivery of the valves to the nuclear power plant will take place in the years 2016-2018.

Construction of the first Belarusian nuclear power plant initiated near the town Ostrovec northwest Belarus on November 6th, 2013. The company NIAEP – Atomstroyexport, a subsidiary of Rosatom, became the general designer and contractor. According to the plan, the first block of the Belarus NPP should be put into operation in November 2018, the second in July 2020.
