The ARAKO service team was part of a well executed shutdown

During the months of April and May, our service team worked on the 60-day outage of Temelín NPP Unit 1.

During this outage, for 6 weeks, as every year, our service department technicians cooperated with ŠKODA JS, a. s. They performed inspections of ARAKO and foreign-made industrial valves, as well as overhauls of globe valves with bellows, pneumatic control valves, quick-acting globe valves produced by ARAKO, and also replacements of spare parts such as bellows assemblies, spindle nuts, bearings, etc.

The scope of planned service activities during this outage was one of the largest and is carried out once every five years. During the outage, fuel replacement, reactor pressure vessel inspection, turbine and safety systems inspection were planned.
