Through aur customer BDI-BioEnergy lnternational GmbH, we delivered the High-Pressure Shut-off Globe Valves V46.2 and the High-Pressure Litt Check Valves 215.2 in full stainless steel flange design for this project. The Globe Valves were manufactured for PN 16 and DN 15 – 25. We also had to provide non-standard catalogue sheets in Dutch with the order and provide Dutch translation for other materials according to the customer’s requirements.

We started producing the High-Pressure Shut-off Globe Valves V46.2 in 2006 and it is one of aur flagship products from aur portfolio for the thermal power plant, chemical, petrochemical and gas industries . lts popularity is mainly dueto its basic features and design variability.

ABOUT THE PROJECT

The new facility in Ghent will be the first plant in Europe capable of processing all types of raw materials, including fatty acids from vegetable oil refining, liquid residues from industrial processes and even grease from sewage sludge from local municipalities.

The new plant will have the capacity to produce up to 115,000 tonnes of biodiesel per year. Construction of the new plant began in October 2020 and the plant was scheduled to start operations in June 2022.
