ARAKO proves itself as a quality partner for the supply of industrial valves

Monday, 12 august 2019

At the beginning of July, ARAKO representatives visited Kozloduy NPP and the Maritsu Iztok Thermal power plant in Bulgaria for a new presentation of products focused on current projects for the power plants.

There are two operated Russian pressurized water reactors VVER-1000 (Kozloduy 5, 6) and four shutdown VVER-440 reactors in the Kozloduy nuclear power plant. The newer VVER-1000 units currently have an operating license valid until 2019. ARAKO has been supplying its valves for the nuclear industry to the Kozloduy NPP for several years. In 2016, for example, it supplied 16 pieces A20 bellows valves. These valves have been installed on 5 and 6 units of the Kozloduy NPP and operate throughout the operation without complaints about quality and without deviations from the factory parameters. Deliveries of products were made in full compliance with customer requirements, on time and also all necessary documentation and documents were properly delivered.

ARAKO supplied Gate valves, Globe valves and Check valves worth 300,000 EUR to the Maritsa Iztok-1 thermal power plant in 2008-2011. Even at the beginning of July, a presentation on new projects and discussion on further future cooperation was made. Even in this case the customer did not make any reservations regarding to the operation of our valves and their quality.
